What is SOLO Taxonomy?.docSOLO stands for Structure of the Observed Learning Outcomes. The acronym has also been used for assessment purposes as the Structured Overview of Learning Outcomes. SOLO Taxonomy is a useful way to characterise different levels of thinking and learning and the corresponding responses expected from learners. The model originates from Biggs and Collis, 1982.
